The Renewable Revolution is Here…

EV Rapid Charging Stations powered by Hydrogen deliver clean, renewable energy to close the Grid Gap

Electric Vehicles (EVs) aren’t some science fiction writer’s distant view of the future. EVs are here, now, and by the end of the decade, experts predict there will be more EVs on American roads than cars with gasoline-combustion engines. In other words, these changes happen fast. And they’re already upon us.

With mass adoption of this new technology, the United States’ infrastructure needs to be ready to handle a rapidly shifting set of consumer demands. This problem is exactly why lawmakers are allocating huge amounts of money and resources towards EV infrastructural development. In May of this year, the president announced a $174 billion plan, designed to incentivize automakers to invest in zero-emission electric vehicles. Additionally, the infrastructure plan seeks to build 500,000 EV charging stations across the country, with Congress identifying fast-charging stations as the priority.

Consumers and businesses will both see the benefits of these programs. The Clean Future Act, for example, offers expanded subsidies for installing EV charging stations. Recently, a bipartisan group of Senators introduced a bill that would raise tax credits for fast chargers from $30,000 to $200,000 per unit. And on top of that, the Ways and Means Committee has announced that they are devising new tax credits for EV charging.

In order to usher a greener, more sustainable future, we need to have an infrastructure system that can properly meet consumer demand. While these changes will be significant, government investments, subsidies, grants, and tax credits are making the transformation affordable for businesses and individuals alike. With bipartisan support for key infrastructural modernization, it’s clear this issue isn’t about ‘Left vs. Right’ but ‘Today vs. Tomorrow’ - and we are proud to do our part in moving towards that brighter, cleaner tomorrow that we can all share.

Renewable Innovations’ EV Rapid Charging Stations are one key part of this new renewable revolution. Powered by Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology, our Rapid Charging Stations are ready and available to provide clean, renewable energy that closes the Grid Gap. Keep an eye out next week to learn about the Department of Transportation’s plan to develop Alternative Fuel Corridors, and how Renewable Innovations is preparing to help reduce emissions on roadways across the nation.
