Our Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Social Media teams for the US and EMEAR are located on the east and west coasts of the US, as well as in the Salt Lake City offices.
Our Asia-Pacific Business Development office addresses the growing APJC hydrogen market, with special emphasis on New Zealand.

Lynn B. Barney
Founder | Chairman & CFO

Lynn brings to the Renewable Innovations team extensive experience in business, having founded a commercial bank in Utah after working for the largest bank in the state. After selling the bank, he served as the CEO of a publicly traded laser company which was listed on the Pink Sheets. Under his leadership, the company (BriteSmile) developed the world’s first laser tooth whitening procedure. He guided that company to the full list of the American Stock Exchange where it became the number one growth stock on all three exchanges. In 2001, Mr. Barney became an early investor in Power Innovations and came on as CFO to guide the company to higher levels of profitability. In 2014, Mr. Barney was the lead in closing its sale to LiteOn Technologies.

Cristiano Uva
Managing Director, Europe

Cristiano brings 25 years of diverse legal, financial and entrepreneurial experience to the business. An attorney by training, he has worked as an antitrust lawyer in the Brussels office of US law firm Coudert Brothers, as well as an in-house regulatory specialist with Goldman Sachs in London and AXA Investment Managers in Paris. Cristiano has over 15 years of managerial activity in his family-owned, high-end Oltremare tour operating business in Milan, and IPO’d a business unit of the Company (Caleido Group) in 2015. Further to the IPO, he’s been the listed entity’s CEO from 2015 to 2020. Besides his native Italian language proficiency, he’s bilingual in English, French, and Spanish.

Education

Cristiano holds a Summa Cum Laude degree in Law from the University “Federico II” of Naples (Italy), an LL.M. from the College of Europe of Bruges (Belgium), and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Catania (Italy), and had various international pre- and post-doctoral academic experiences.
